Made from water and honey, straight from ancient times into your glass. A mythical alcoholic drink recipe lives on thanks to our family’s devotion and expertise. Three types of honey (thyme, blossom, and heather) and water are slowly fermented in barrels.
After two years of maturation, mead is released into your glass with its deep red colour and its rich unique aroma that can please even the most demanding of palates!
Its history: From Greek Olympus to the Viking Scandinavia, Mead has always been Gods’ and humans’ favourite. In our own Monemvasia, newlyweds daily cherished this particular liquor, called “Melitokraso”, on their honeymoon for a sweet married life. Enjoy a glass for a tasty tour through time!
